We joke around in my area of the country and say that we only have two seasons: ice cold and hot as heck! When I lived in a milder climate, I stayed active outdoors year-round. When I made the move to my new state a couple of years back, I had a tough time spending time outside due to the temperature never feeling comfortable to me. I soon got tired of spending so much time indoors and learned that when I wore the right clothing in the winter and kept the right supplies on-hand during the summer, especially water in a cooler, that I could enjoy time outdoors again.
